It is my hope that as society becomes more aware of mental health and what challenges look like, and how to help; people who struggle in this area will feel supported and talk about it.

Anita no bother at all. I understand and have found myself in that challenging situation as well. I think sending a card that expresses that you are thinking about them during that particular time!

Thank you. Promoting mental health awareness is a passion for us, and we hope that we’ve sparked some good conversations. Also having Jordan on as a guest was such a treat. I’m sure he made his parents proud with his respectful, thoughtful and well-articulated responses. Thank you, Jordan!

I agree. I give cards to the guys in my life on birthdays, holidays, and special occasions. I know that my husband has saved every one that I have given him over the years, since before we were married. Secret as it’s kept, I’ve also been known to give my son, dad, and husband candy, flowers, and plants too, and I have yet to hear a complaint 😊 Hmm, guess it’s not a secret anymore!

No bother at all. This is a sensitive one. I think if you are close to the person, you could reach out to them to gauge their feelings. I believe that sending the card is a beautiful gesture, that lets them know you care and that their role as a mother, and that their child, has not been forgotten. —Tara

I just stared thinking about your podcast and I truly believe that men like cards but don’t want people to think they are mush mush.Gjve your partner a card and he will probably keep it forever.
